Camera Path/Points

Hi!

I was wondering if there was a way to extract the camera path, or its points, as well as the target path and its points in order to reference them into grasshopper? We are creating an animation using Bongo, and I have set up a script using grasshopper and ecotect that moves louvers according to the sun’s position. I was trying to match my colleagues animation she is working on in Bongo to then insert my “moving louver” frames. We are both using Vray in order to do this. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

I should also say that she set up her animation in Bongo to go from set views in Rhino. So Bongo I guess created the camera path and the target path itself to go between the assigned views. She did not input a curve to follow.

Unfortunately it’s not possible to export the curve. The reason is that Bongo uses Hermite Splines, Rhino curves are NURBS.

I have similar problem: I would like to calculate the rotation between the camera target and the tangent in a camera motion along a path.

Would be possible to extract the point frame location?

Thanks

skysurfer,

Not 100% sure what you mean. Can you please post an example?

I have a curve motion for the camera and I would like to be able to convert the position into 3D point.
There’s any way?

See if this could be of any help:
