CageEdit, Deform Geometry WITH texture?

As you might see, I wanted to deform the surface with CageEdit and the texture would stay at scale or shift or do some strange things.

I would like to deform an object but have the texture cling to the geometry and have it also deformed accordingly.

I am a texturing noob. So maybe somebody could help be how to maybe quickly convert this planar mapping to a UV mapping or to achieve what I was describing.

rebuild the surface to significantly higher control points and try again.

It’s planar mapping, maybe this has something to do with it.

also converted to a SubD I will no be able to tweak the texture as well with my geometry.
