CageEdit Custom Object?

As you see here I want to tweak the Texture to match the other patterns. Is there a way to set any low poly mesh or polyline as a control polygon?

Hi Hannes - have you tried working with the UVEditor?

@pascal Unfortunately I can’t see the texture when switching on UVEditor. It turns invisible. Any ideas how to switch it on would be very handy. Many thanks! Hannes

Hi Hannes - move/adjust the mesh points in the projected/unwrapped texture mesh not the actual mesh object… I’m not sure if I am interpreting correctly what you are showing there.

@pascal will do so until I figured out why the material and mapping don’t show up anymore. Posted as a new topic

When simply reassigning the map still get no UVEditor

When assigning a mapping (Surface etc) the texture is gone even It’s assigned in material

Pascal made it working, but as I’ve said there is no texture to see the results in real time. As I don’t know how to edit the texture.

Hi Hannes - in the Texture editor, you can set whether to show a texture or material - I tihnk just make sure the object has the material you expect and set it to use the material. I made a new one here with a stripe texture:
