These are serious problems. No information about this?
Hi.
Yes. I have. I still see same bugs in 2.12.3 as well.
I have reported these bugs to Francesc 4 weeks ago. They are not fixed neither in 2.12.2 nor in 2.12.3.
We’ve changed our workflow to one using worksession since 2.12
These bugs are very big trouble for out project
Thanks.
I see there are several different (but related) errors reported in the other post. Which is exactly the issue that persist in 2.12.3?

Enric

Print out error in worksession

Once a update done in reference file, layers in worksession can not be turned on and off.
Thanks.
Hi @archist97,
Here is a WIP installer for VisualARQ 2.12.4, which includes a fix for the second issue, related to layers when an attached document is updated. The problem was that the layer hierarchy was duplicated. One of the layer trees (the new one) for the attached document worked fine, while the old one, which should be deleted, wasn’t working. Now there are no duplicated layer trees, and hiding/showing layers works as expected.

Now I’m going to check the other issue.

Thanks. Enric
Turning on and off layers works fine now.
This is just another tiny issue. As far as I know, worksession imports only layers currently in use in reference files, but I see layers not in use in them.
Thanks.
Hi @enric ,
Is the VisualARQ 2.12.4 service release available now?
I wonder if the version # can be included on the downloads page (I cannot find the version defined in the .msi download).
Hi @kevin3,
We haven’t published VisualARQ 2.12.4 yet, because we found other issues, but I think we’ve already fixed all of them.
Here are the latest download links:
https://visualarq.s3.amazonaws.com/download/visualarq-2.12.4.15878-rhino6-setup-snapshot.msi
https://visualarq.s3.amazonaws.com/download/visualarq-2.12.4.15878-rhino7-setup-snapshot.msi
Can you please confirm if this version works fine?
Thanks,
Enric
I can run the snapshot. Thank you
I am not testing worksessions at this time but will try to integrate something.
I just had a crash with 2.12.4.15878 but was not running a worksession.
I had an advanced GHX script running, and opened a new Rhino session that was missing the called Space & Slab Styles; an exception was thrown on the missing Slab style and it crashed.
There was no notice and no crash report.
Is there some way to gather data post-crash?
Hi @kevin3,
Can you reproduce the crash?
Anyway, I don’t think this crash is related to recent changes on VisualARQ, so we can publish 2.12.4 and fix the crash in 2.12.5 or 2.13.
Thanks,
Enric
I cannot reproduce the crash.
I agree that it is probably not related; it might have been a combination of missing Slab and Space styles referenced in the GHX script.
If I see any more issues in 2.14, I will write again.
