BUG: Simple Problematic Shell/Offsetsrf

In the attached I have aloft. If I try to do offsetsrf of 0.5" it fails to create a solid.
if i do a cap and shell of 0.5" the same thing happens.

it’s clear what Rhino is doing to when it fails. However, it seems that this should be something doable.
