Can you please check this simple testscene? test vaSection.3dm (3.4 MB)
It’s just a box, and the same box inside a block. When I enter blockedit and change the section attributes
of the box in the block, then leave blockedit, the attributes are forgotten.
Strangely, when I duplicate the box (with the blue section), and create a block from it, the sectioned block is displayed correctly. However, any changes to the section attributes inside the block will break this.
It works fine on my computer, using Rhino 7 SR32 and VisualARQ 2.13.2.
Are you using Rhino “BlockEdit”, or a third-party block edit plugin?
Currently VisualARQ is only supported in Rhino native BlockEdit plugin. We cannot support any other third-party tool, because that will require a lot of work on both sides (the block edit plugin and VisualARQ).
Indeed I use the blockedit plugin (Was already suspecting it).
That’s pretty uncool, because it’s super handy, for a number of reasons.
(Need some chocolate now to get that bitter taste out of my mouth).
