Bug: Saving unintentionally saves all materials in worksession

Worksession a file with materials, saving the file and the file size gets exponentially very large because the file saves all the materials that the worksession file has.

Even when i have nothing in the model, the file size gets to 303MB!!

Cascading problems will result with big files like this with lots of materials because when one tries to copy things, (Ctrl +C and Ctrl+V) rhino slows down to a halt.

This issue has been bugging us for a decade already. Please someone from McNeel can you try to fix it.

to reproduce it.

  1. open a new file

  2. worksession in the model i sent you. it should have a lot of embedded materials.

  3. save the file. and you should see the file gets bloated up to 162mb.
