BUG: RHINO 8.8 - Items Dissapearing

Hi There,

I updated to 8.8 yesterday evening now one of my plans that is set to “Arctic” view is not showing some of my items. I am already using “Advanced GPU Lighting”, this wasn’t happening prior to 8.8.
Any assistance would be great as I have a presentation in less than 24-Hours.

Hi Christian - if you have an example file that shows this, please post it here or send to trech@mcneel.com with a link back here in your comments.

-Pascal

It is a file I can’t share as it is under an NDA, if it helps it appears that it is when items are in blocks.

Hi Christian - are the objects meshes?

-Pascal

only on one object within one block. additionally there are blocks that just contain nurbs and they have the issue aswell. I tried restoring my Arctic view back to default but that didn’t solve it. the only temporary fix i have is to set each objects individual display mode.

Any Ideas?

Hi Christian -
Can you export a single object that isn’t showing and post or Rhino - Upload to Support that?
Also, please run the Rhino SystemInfo command and copy-paste the output here.
-wim

Done,

Hi Christian -

When I open that file here, the viewport is set to Shaded. When I change that to the Arctic display mode, this is what I see:

image

Have you tried disabling those 3rd party plug-ins and restarting Rhino to see if that makes a difference?
-wim

The problem is in my Layout plan view and it isn’t the clipping planes.
I accidentally sent you the one where i had to set the objects display mode to shaded to see it on plan

I’ll try disabling those plugins and see if it helps.
