The sphere polygon mesh primitive seems inaccurate. Every single face of the sphere has a different area meaning that each mesh face is different and this should not be the case. Feel free to check it out. The Grasshopper component has the same problem.
To make it clear I just used grasshopper to show the problem but the geometry was created in Rhino.

Yes, I can confirm this, the following illustration shows a band extracted starting at the equator of a mesh sphere, the mesh vertices are all centered correctly on the sphere center, but the radial divisions are not equal angles. The red curves are a polar array of lines.
I am not sure if you guys have seen this. I just want to make sure it does not get lost.
