Bug report: cursor issue with SubD _Slide on edgeloop

Hi,

Using _Slide on subD edgeloop is not very practical at the moment. I think there is an issue with how the distance between the cursor and the closest point on the closest edge is computed.

Here is a video that shows how painful and time-consuming it can be sometimes:

upupup

Sorry to up again, but I think it’s a real issue deserving attention.

Hi @felix.mariotto ,

I’ve filed this as https://mcneel.myjetbrains.com/youtrack/issue/RH-84594 for future reference. In the meantime, one thing that can help with the edgeloop placement during Slide is to hold the Alt/Option key to toggle off your Osnaps.

Hi @BrianJ, thank you ! It’s driving me nuts
I noticed disabling Osnaps helps a bit but still tedious.
