if I rename a layer by click a second time - with a small delay between first and second click, there is an additional second tiny delay between the second mouse-click and the “Layername-Edit-Mode”.
try to rename 5 Layers one after an other as fast as possible to get a feeling of what I mean.
it is an ugly click and wait action…
click once
wait
click second
wait
rename
… repeat
I have no specific wish but I see some possiblities:
(0) remove the delay after the second click or expose it to the options (if this is all ready the case - what is the setting ?)
(1) a layer that is marked (wether active or not), double click to edit name (currently double click will make it active)
(2) keep behaviour as it is - allow triple click for immediate rename
(3) allow option click for rename
by the way - adobe has a nice hotkey combo to turn on or lock a single layer / all other when you click the lightbulb / lock.
not sure which hotkey combo it is…
