(BUG?) Panels' Responsiveness

Dear forum,

Some of my panels seem very slow to respond. Reordering layers, materials, can takes seconds to do anything and the model freezes during this time. All works fine in version 8.

Is anyone having this problem in the WIP?

Hi Sach -

Does this happen with a new file from a factory-default template and a simple box, or is this something that only happens in files of a certain size or is it more related to the time spent in any given model?

Have you modified your window layout or are you running with the default layout?

Hi @wim It has been happening on all the files I’ve been working on in WIP, small and large. The same files do not seem to exhibit the issues in version 8

it may be worse when there are lots of layers and lots of materials, but cannot be 100%.

Hope this helps

Hi Sach -

I read that as saying it also happens when you start a new file and only have a simple box in the scene.

Can you provide details on how you reorder the 6 layers in such file and how long it takes?
