Bug? Manually Saving Project creates File in Trash

in v8 i have noticed that whenever i use cmd s to save the file which happens frequently when i do a lot of crucial changes that i dont want to be gone for good when Rhino as unstable as it has become decides to bugger off again.

but each time i do so a new file appears in the trash which fills and fills and fills and hey did i say it fills? it kind of chows down on a lot of mb on my harddrive. is that intentional?

Yes.
You can turn that behavior off with the following advanced setting:

Rhino.Options.FileSettings.RecycleAutosaveFiles

I see that YT is tagged “Help Change V8” but I’m not finding that in the documentation.
