Bug: Layout Scale

In a layout,

  1. Change the value of Scale>Model
  2. Click Locked
    The scale does not change.

Can you please give more details as to how to reproduce this one? Personally, I’m not following this one…I think I need hand-holding to see what you’re seeing (if it’s still a problem in Rhino 8, that is).

If you go directly from hanging the scale to locking, the scale does not change. This happens on V7. I have not bought V8.

I apologize. I still don’t understand. Can you please pretend I’m someone who has never used Rhino and explain it to me? It’s likely I’m overlooking something very obvious.

Sometimes video captures work too (Command+Shift+5).

Change the model scale

Click Locked

The model scale value is changed but the model scale did not change.

Hi Miano,
Currently you need to type the value and Return (Enter) or pick in the text field above.
Then when the details scale has updated, you may check the lock button.

Give this a try:

  1. Pick Scale>Model field
  2. Type a value and Return, Enter or pick in the field above.
  3. Click Locked
    The scale does change.

I had made it around that but Rhino really should not leave a bad value displayed and locked. :slight_smile:
