Just make a pdf from layout and then try to on/off in pdf the layers to see that geometry turned on and off does not correspond rhino. i am not even surprised, i found this out by accident trying to find a solution for another bug (too thin hidden line for technical print).
rhino wont let me off my streak of bug reporting
