R8 (lastest RC build) for Mac:
When swapping between different layer filters, custom layer order is not respected.
(ex. changing from “All layers” to “On” and back to “All layers” changes the layer order, when its customised).
Layerstatemanager might help to store and recall the initial state

Does it happen also in a new file? If not, a sample file that shows the behavior would be helpful.
Well, I tried 10 min ago with a new file and it happened once while messing around, but I wasn’t recording it, then I couldn’t manage to reproduce that. Weird.
