  • BUG Incorrect Scattering Value Input in Floating Material Window Panel and Error in Conventional Panel

Description

  • When clicking on the material to access the floating material window panel, the scattering value input behaves incorrectly. Also, the error becomes apparent when using the conventional material panel.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Open Rhino3D 8.
  2. Make a material.
  3. Click on a material to open the floating material window panel.
  4. Attempt to input or adjust the scattering value. Example 7
  5. Observe the value looks correct.
  6. Close the floating material window panel and open the conventional material panel.
  7. Look for the same input or adjustment to the scattering value.
  8. Note the error that occurs; the value has several orders of magnitude and is different. like 7000

Expected Behavior

  • That the value is the same.

Actual Behavior

  • When opening the conventional panel, the scattering value is not what I input.
