Hi @DavidRutten, I wanted to give the new function editor a try, but it seems I cannot do anything beside changing amplitude and colors of the cosine function…
Yep I can repeat that here. Initially I thought it as because my macbook only has a touchpad, no mouse, but it’s clearly a deeper bug than that.
Okay, I fixed it, and I’ll push a new version out since this is quite an important fix. Some other half-finished features will also go out, but that’s the nature of the alpha process…
That was a quick fix ! I am now able to add some functions, but the editor still seems buggy. I was unable to multiply functions without crashing RH for example…
Sigh… yep, here too. Why is Mac so much more fragile when it comes to errors? Half of them can’t be caught.

Yup and sadly it looks like that’s not all…
I don’t have time to try this a lot (needs to relaunch rhino each time…), but some more I noticed :
- Not possible to undo
- Modifying functions with the mouse is very laggy. Works great the first few seconds, but not further.
- Can’t modify the evaluated expression function (the editor accepts the changes in expression but doesn’t remember them)
- I tried
Negative
unary operator, don’t know precisely what I did, but it crashed rhino. I could connect functions, and it did limit them, but then crashed - Was playing around with
Addition
andSoustraction
, but at some point they disapeared somewhere into the functions infinite limits - (don’t know if this is a bug or a feature) Not possible to move operators on the editor canvas
