The attached file contains curves generated by MAKE2D.
If I try FILLET (Radius=0) near the common ends of the red curves, I get the blue curve.

Hello - SimplifyCrv will let this work (Connect or Fillet at zero) The lower segment has stacked control points at the right hand end.
