Bug - Export block to Illustrator hangs Rhino

When a block is exported to illustrator from the Block Manager, the illustrator file is created but Rhino blocks and stay block until you terminate the process in the task manager.
It is as if a prompt window is open and waiting for input. ESC or Enter does not work.

Replicate:
Open a new Rhino file. Make a circle. Create a block with that circle. Got to Block Manager. Select block. Export to illustrator. Hangs.

Any ideas?

Hi @pascal
here are my settings.
Please note that it works with Export Selected and Export with Base Point.
It does not work with export from the block manager menu.
Thanks, N

Thanks - so far I have not been able to repat the problem. I’ll ask my collieagues to have a try. Can you please post the output from the SystemInfo command in Rhino?

No issues here: Windows 7.32.23199.07001

Hi @pascal ,
I tried it on another computer and I did not have the same problem.
Then I noticed that I had the VisualARQ evaluation plugin loaded (expired). I have unloaded it and it worked.
I cannot check if the problem persists with a VisualARQ full version.

@enric Perhaps you can look at this.

Thanks, N

Ah, OK, thanks for the update. I’ll let Enric have a look.

Hi @nsgma,

I have fixed the issue. Here is the latest preview build of VisualARQ 2.13.2, with this fix included:

Thanks for reporting the bug,
