Bug: Edit AnnotateDot text jumps to end of line

For each keystroke the “type cursor” jumps to the end of the line when I try to edit the Display Text of a AnnotateDot, if I use the “properties panel”.

If I double click and use the pop-up editor then it works as expected.

Yep, known bug, been reported a few times, and it is not going to be fixed for awhile (unless some more noise is made about it).

Oh, and have they removed Alt-DoubleClick to edit text objects? That was a lifesaver.

Ah… that mistake explains a lot about my shortcomings when it comes to communication :smiley:
