Bug: Display Modes - Custom color for locked layers

With Locked object usage set to Use specified lock color, objects on locked layers are set to the specified color even when Apply these settings to layers is disabled:

When Apply these settings to layers is disabled, shouldn’t the “On locked layer” text display its normal color (white in this case)?

Yes, this is a bug that’s specific for annotation objects. We have this on the list:
