BUG Dimension minimum line weight in PDF is 0.25?

It appears that the line weight of dimensions in a printed PDF can’t be thinner than 0,25.

The video below should demonstrate this:

What I’m doing there:

Experiment 1: Dim set to 0.25, line set to 0.13
The result is that the dim appears thicker than the line — which is the expected result

Experiment 2: Dim set to 0.13, line set to 0.25
Dim and line have the same thickness in PDF.

Is this a bug, or am I missing something? @Gijs, can you help?

Looking into this I am seeing that the dimensions set through linetypes don’t work correctly for dimensions.
I don’t see that the minimum linewidth is 0.25 though.

I have the same problem. Rhino 8 introduced a lot of scaling and display bugs with linetypes, linewidths and annotations which is very frustrating as these are essential for architectural drawings.

Hi -

Please make sure to provide details and 3dm files so that these issues can be looked into.

Hello,

Sorry for not providing details before, but the problem was fixed so thank you a lot!

There is still a small part of the bug persisting:
In leaders, if you have a landing it defaults to some line width and not respecting the thinner line width. Here are some files and details for it.

A4 (no landing).pdf (21.5 KB)
A4.pdf (21.5 KB)
Leader with landing.3dm (43.7 KB)

For now I will just remove the landing from my leaders, so no biggie.

Kind regards,
Keskinen

Thanks.
