(Bug) create a cylinder without to set the direction in the first step (also for mapping)


I have some peach objects for rendering. I like to apply cylindrical mappings aligned to the fruits. The workflow should be:

  • select the base of the cone and define a radius
  • free place the end of the cone where needed

At the moment if the radius is set, than the direction of the cylinder is fixed too. But it would be much better if the direction is defined by the end of the cone in the next step. So it’s a problem to apply the cylindrical mapping to the different directed peaches in a bowel. Hope it can be fixed.


Hi Micha - set the DirectionConstraint to None at the command line - does that do it?
