When I try to array the red curve along the blue curve, Rhino freezes.

Thanks for the report. Looks like gate guard logic that should keep a 0 thickness object spaced 0 units apart (infinite new lines) got broken at some point recently. We’ll get this patched up immediately. RH-95269
As well as cancellation is still on the short list which should be the fall back to esc out. RH-95171
