Hi guys,
I had problem with the ArrayonCrv:
If I use a curve created with ApplyUVcrv the RoadLike option doesn’t give me a perfectly horizontal copy .
It’s a Bug?
here the files

Hi Riccardo - it is not a bug, it is how Roadlike works - (I know, I know… ) If the slope of the curve were constant - i.e. a helix, you’d get level copies but since it is not (you see this on tapered helices as well, made with Spiral) the copies cannot stay level. You can use this script
ArrayCrv_Flat.zip (1.8 KB)
to get the level result you want… Unzip, drag and drop to add
ArrayCrvFlat
as an alias for the script…

Thanks Pascal,
Any chance to see this fixed in the next service release?
The problem it’s to explain this to 30 students
This appears to be related to what Roadlike does or does not do in Sweep1 which was discussed but (in my opinion) not resolved in Sweep1 Roadlike Top?
Hi Riccardo - No, I would say not, since it is not broken- I undertstand there is a need for an array option like what I faked in the script, but that is an addition, not a fix, and I think it is on the pile for V6… http://mcneel.myjetbrains.com/youtrack/issue/RH-2913

Yeah, I red the other post and I understood the problem.
But, yes, it would need another option.
Thanks.
