I think this is a bug.
the blue solid and the green surface intersect.
but
_createSolid fails
and
_intersect fails as well
(Workarround: via _insertKnot into the blue surface)

Hi Tom - thanks, looks wring to me. The blue surface has large edge and vertex tolerances but so far fixing that does not help. I’ll poke some more but it looks just buggy.
