I think this has been mentioned before, but can’t seem to find the thread: When using Bridge, it’s a real PIA having to (potentially) change the status of both osnaps and project in order to correct the alignment. If osnaps are off, you have to turn them on; if project is on, you have to turn it off (unless your control points are on the cplane). Could this be tuned up, so that osnap for vertex is on and project is off when the command is running?

Hi Jakob - the process seems only to be a selection and not really a ‘GetPoint’ so snaps and project should simply be ignored, not changed as settings in the Osnaps toolbar, is what you’re saying, right?

Sorry, yes! Just tried it again, and you are (as usual 
) absolutely right! It’s Project that needs to be ignored - vertex snap has no influence. I must have gotten it wrong yesterday somehow.
