BREP to MESH settings explanation

I see that there is settings possibilities for the BREP to MESH widget.
Can someone tell me how to try the different settings please? There is no setting widget in the UTIL group…

Mesh–>Util–>Settings(Custom), Settings(Quality)

This really drives me crazy. There is two identical curve. A loft is created. We can see that all the sides are rectangular planes. Despite this when a mesh is generated same faces has extra subfaces… What is the logic behind it?
