Brep split problem


I have an issue with brep. I can’t split it with closed volume. Can you advise if I can overcome this without a need to change geometry? I’ve added a file together with the mesh which is a source of a brep. I used MeshToNURBS to make the brep.

If you run Intersect on the 2 breps, you will get 7 intersections. There are gaps - most likely caused by the file tolerance. If I lower the tolerance to .0001, it splits. Converting meshes to NURBS like this can create problems…
