Is there some rhyme or reason to the way the last variable on this works? It almost never fails to generate the thickness in the wrong direction, I want it to go Z+ so I enter a positive number and it goes Z- in direction. I get the direction I actually want about 15% of the time.
Ran some tests, it does change based on the order you pick the three points. I’m not sure I can wrap my head around it. The first point is the origin point, the second point is x and the third point is y? I think I need an indicator!
I have my cursor tooltip set to show distance… you can look at that and see what direction is being considered positive in relation to the preview.
that said, I’ve wished/requested that the preview itself would be the governing factor in positive/negative direction… enter a positive number and it will extrude/draw/rotate/etc in the direction the preview is showing. enter a negative number and it goes in the opposite direction.
