"BooleanDifference" bug

Using this tool, when selecting a group protrusion object, the bug that only one surface is selected like the image and the difference in the enlarged state are a failure phenomenon. When zooming out, re-difference is possible.

ps. I’m a Korean, so I used a translator.

Hello - this should be fixed in the SR 7.5 release which will be available today.

Did you fix tool launch failure when zooming in the viewport?

I just updated to the latest release, but it hasn’t been fixed.
Problems occur with polysurfaces made from curve extrusions. Please watch the video carefully.
The modeling file used in the video is also attached.

@pascal Do you mean the Service Release 7.4 or Service Release Candidate 7.5, both available today?

I think Pascal meant the Service Release Candidate 7.5 available today, not the Service Release 7.4 also available today.

rhino_ko-us_7.5.21068.13001 installed but not modified.

Seeing that the file name is 7.5, I think it is correct that version 7.5 is installed.

Hello - yeah, the fix should be in the release candidate, 7.5 not in 7.4. Are you saying that you see the bug in 7.5, still? I’ll check…

-Pascal

yes… T. T

In addition, a polysurface completed with a normal join can be selected normally and becomes a boolean difference set.
However, polysurfaces grouped after extruding with curves are selected as wrong objects as in the video, and the Boolean difference set fails.

I’m seeing this here as well. As soon as the extrusion objects are grouped, the boolean diff fails (and Rhino tries to select the subobjects of the extrusions, when you click them as operands in the boolean operation).

Hello - the developer is working on fixing that for extrusions - thanks!

-Pascal

thank you!
