Hi, I have been trying to use the ‘boolean 2 objects’ and it works well for some solids that I have. But randomly there’s a solid that it fails to union. I am working with underground development that is fairly simple and doesn’t change. So I was wondering why some solids boolean properly and others don’t.
Dear @cmaldonado you might want to add a sample .3dm file to your post - so it is easier to see your problem.
But yes, there are special cases where Boolean-Commands fail.
sometimes the _intersect or _intersectTwoSets command show the problematic area.
sometimes not proper Normal Directions cause problems - check with _dir
sometimes nearly coplanar / parallel / nearly matching surfaces within document-Tolerance are a problem…
and some more… but without a sample it is hard to guess.

kind regards -tom
