Boolean Curve

I created a surface and want to subtract the center. I figure boolean curve would do the job, but as you can see from the vid, I don’t get what I want. The curve and the surface are on the surface of the plane. What am I doing wrong?2015-12-16_11-03-44.mp4 (1.7 MB)

Hi James - CurveBoolean is fr combining overlapping curves. I think you want Trim here.
