Hello, I’m newer to using VisualARQ. I’m trying to export an VisualArq project into an FBX file (clean meshes) for some concept renders. Is there a way to BlockEdit or Explode objects in VA without their meshes becoming warped?
Are you working far from the origin of coordinates (0, 0, 0) ?
VisualARQ objects use double-precision meshes, so they should work fine even if they are inserted far from origin, but maybe there is a bug in our code. Can you send us the file to visualarq@asuni.com so we can take a look?
Yes, I believe the objects are far from the origin. Could that be the case? Here is the model if you have time to take a look.I did recently notice that if I try making a mesh from nurbs object, there problem goes away.
Hi @Kyle_Hittmeier , yes, the model is very far from the origin of coordinates, and this produces some display and performance issues. Just move it next to the 0,0,0 coordinates to fix it. Do a zoom extends afterwards to ensure there is no piece of geometry left in a remote edge of the document.
