Hi Brian, I just tested this and I would not say it’s fixed. When a clipping plane is being moved while turned on in the viewport the render materials of the block instances look correct but when the clipping plane stops moving things get a little wonky. Also there is significant performance lag now when moving active clipping planes around on the screen, something that was super smooth before the beta build. See screen recording
@brian any status on the issue of block references containing objects with custom materials assignments not displaying correctly when clipped with clipping planes? The issue has never resolved for me and I am currently using the current SRC of R8
No, I don’t have an update. It’s on @jeff’s list and it’s part of a broader problem he’s investigating.
