# Block instances are hidden

A block that was used multiple times throughout my layouts (and another block in my model) suddenly does not display. The command ‘show’ doesn’t work, and enabling _all_ layers neither.

The layer that the block is on, is enabled and the layer on which the block contents are, is also enabled.

**Selecting the block in the block manager _does show_ the block instances in the viewport with a ghosted-ish review (pink down below).**

**Selecting the block shows a preview of the instance in pink, this disappears by clicking anywhere else:**

This block’s contents are on layer 'Title":

Layer ‘Title’ is enabled:

How do I get the block (instances) back?

Are you still seeing this issue? If so, please post both the output from the Rhino `SystemInfo` command and a 3dm file that we can take a look at.
