In this day in age where even the most retarded CAD programs have proper block control. I don’t understand for the life of me why Rhino cannot have a proper block control! Firstly, when you highlight a block,
you cannot edit its information panel. In addition, int the so-called now block manager, nothing is in the right place. You pick a block, and it’s not highlighted. You drag a block, and you lose your place in the block library. How is this such a problem nowadays. Most importantly when you reference blocks into a file and copy them over, it completely throws off the layer paradigm making them useless. I have to have a simultaneous file open in order for it to function. As one small suggestion, can we get a dialogue box under properties so we can just change the information for now. Jeez. Also, after sinking two days into “smart blocks” I am nowhere near… All I wanted was a stupid dialogue box with text attribute edit. Instead, there is an attribute editor, then there is a nested attribute editor. You cannot click out of the block to make a function input, basically it’s all a giant mess.
