BlendCrv obscured by surface/polysurface

When working in Shaded, whenever I use blendcrv and there is some kind of surface behind the blend i can hardly see the preview. I’ll usually just switch to Ghosted since i can see the preview curve just find there, but this getting annoying after a while. And I do most of my work in shaded since I work with scan data a lot and need to see the texture of the scan. Is this intended or is there a setting im missing in Shaded?

hi @Tommy804 can you run _SystemInfo in Rhino and post back the results?

I don’t see that here in 7.37.24107.15001

It could have something to do with the display mode you are using. It looks you have modified yours. Can you export the display mode(s) and send the .ini file(s)?

Shaded.ini (13.9 KB)
Ghosted.ini (13.3 KB)
These are the modes I use, Shaded is the only I have the blendcrv issue.

Could you try enabling Advanced GPU lighting in that display mode? Here that fixes the issue you are seeing.

It looks like it works fine when i enabled Advanced GPU lighting, as long as the Lighting method is set to Custom lighting. But the lights and shadows look pretty harsh

Do you see the same issue with the standard shaded display mode? If not, try to find the setting that causes the issue. I don’t see that lighting here. You might also want to update your graphics card driver.

Ive found it after doing a Restore Defaults on Shaded and toggling everything back on. It was Draw objects behind all others that was causing the issue. Thanks.
