Better tools for triangulation using outer and inner boundary

I use the “mesh patch” command quite a lot, but I would like it to use an outer line just like it does for holes, so I don’t have to delete the extra triangles outside the outer line like this:

And if we could get full triangulation with breaklines, points or pointclouds and with inner and outer boundary settings, that would be even better

I normally Use Planar Surface for the outer boundary, then trim out the inner boundary. Then convert the surface to a mesh:

Another option is to hatch between the boundaries, explode the hatch to a surface then use the Mesh command on that. Same result just a different way to get there.

I can’t use planar, as they are not planar curves

I tried the hatch trick, but it too ended up as a 2d hatch.
But I had some luck lofting them, and meshing that. but then the problem I get is that the mesh does not match the points on the lines, so it will not fit right with the two other meshes that this is the “filling” between. I need it to be like this:

Can you post an example file that you would like to mesh? In any case I think it will be difficult to acchieve what you want in one click. Depending on your curves the matching meshed version might become ambiguous
edit: Wim pointed me at the file you posted in the other thread, I now see better what you mean with removing the outer triangles. Other than that I still don’t see a good way or workaround to get what you want.
