I asked this question in the thread “Share your custom viewport modes here,” but I think I should start a new thread.
I have a point cloud imported into Rhino. The point cloud size is 2. Here is a screenshot of the viewport (default shaded mode):
It looks very, very flat.
Here is the same point cloud loaded in Rhino using the Veesus plugin. I also use point size 2 here and filling off.
The viewport display is very similar, if not exactly the same, to native Rhino point cloud display.
But Veesus has something called lighting. In the previous screenshot, it was turned off. If I turned it on, this is the viewport display.
Can we do something similar to Rhino?
Proper lighting to have proper depth in the viewport?
