Ok I know the bake command (and also plugins like rhinoair) . What about bake not only the textures but the ambient oclussions, shadows, reflections… and multiobjects with multitextures in a single image file for a single mesh mapping for all the scene? Will it be developed within rhino6?
Don’t know about V6 (and I’ll put a vote in for that too please), however a quick, cheap (free) solution is Blender.
You can light the scene as you see fit and then bake anything you like down to a single texture. Also if you have a nVidia card you can use Cycles to render on the GPU to speed it up lots.
If you do lots of this there is a Blender Plugin called Baketool which helps a lot too (not free).
