Bake Dimensions to Style using the Grasshopper Rhino tab

I’ve been trying to bake the dimensions to a annotation style using the Rhino Tab and have all the settings connected, but it bakes to some overridden settings. I’d like to have the option to only input the style.

I’ve figured out a work-around using the Ape plugin linear dimension but it would be nice if this worked natively.

I actually found the answer to this question from one of my previous questions.

Use “Annotation Style Overrides”. The naming is confusing as I don’t want to override but set it to a style by default.

Why don’t you set the dimension like this?

Looks like the newer version of Rhino 8 has added that feature. I am not upgrading for a project. Good to know!

I first tried in Rhino 9 WIP but it works exactly the same way in Rhino 8
