When I specify some transparency for backfaces selection behaves like wireframe view as if everything was transparent… any way i can have semi-transparent backfaces while still having selection operate like shaded mode usual?
What transparency % are you using when using a custom material for all backfaces in the display mode? I can still select a surface by clicking in a non-isocurve area using 95% trans in a customized Shaded mode.
Hi Ryan - If you hit a wire of an object behind, that wins - same in Ghosted.
Well yeah that’s basically what I’m saying. It doesn’t really make any sense that because of backface settings, I click the middle of a solid face in shaded view and then rhino selects some random object behind what I wanted that I didn’t even know was there… Makes transparent backfaces basically unusable.
