Axolotl Lattice Clean Up

Hello,

I am using the amazing Axolotl in Grasshopper with the goal of generating open lattices starting from geometries modeled in Rhino or Grasshopper.
Is there a way to clean up the beams of the open lattices?
Being of course structures to realized through Additive Manufacturing they require a lot of support braces because of the way the lattices nodes get “cut” with the volume. I know that in Crystallon there are some ways of managing these structures, has anyone found a solution in axolotl?

As an alternative i would also be considering conformal lattices if that is a possibility in Axolotl.

Let me know if i was clear enough or more information is needed.

Hello

not sure of what you want and how many curves you have, but Nautilus has a little too to remove “Dead Ends”

There is a parameter of recursion because it just remove just one dead curve at each itteration.

If you want fast calculation and if you have just one curve to remove Keep recursion Number to 1.

remove dead ends.gh (8.6 KB)

Unfortunately, Axolotl doesn’t output curves. Maybe it does under the hood in order to generate the lattice, but it’s not an area where the user can edit. Thank you very much though, this might be an effective solution for lattices generated with curves
