I might be doing something wrong but I was under the impression that I could create a cut/fill on a terrain based on a curve, then move that curve and have the cut/fill update by itself. But I am not getting it. In the image below I did just that - but when moving the curve (red circle) up by 5meters the terrain is not updated. Did I miss something? Thanks!
Sorry, got it had to put the model in wireframe to see the draggable handle! But still : I would like to edit this grip (i.e. its Z value) in Grasshopper. Is it possible? And still - I was under the impression that I could just move the curve, not the grip.
Hi @bmscmoreira once you apply a land movement operation on a terrain, the control points of the curves used for the cut and fill boundary, the hole, or the path axis, get integrated into the terrain, and the original curves are not linked anymore to it.
As you have figured out, activating the control points on the terrain will let you see them and change the cut and fill boundary, or the cut and filll elevation (from the double arrow grip). But it is not possible to move one control point up of that terrain boundary because it would generate a boundary of double-curvature, which is something not supported right now.
