Autosave file won't load?

After BSOD crash last night I found the Autosave file where it should be. Time stamp is about right for a few minutes before the crash. But when I try to open the file it won’t load. The error message reads: C:\Users…\Rudder_RhinoAutosave(14952).3dm is not a Rhino file. Any thoughts on a way to open or recover, or just redo the hour and a half of work? Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Try opening the file with the Rescue3dmFile command.

Does this help?

Thanks for the suggestion. Unfortunately Rescue3dmFile Analyze produces:

To find damaged parts of the file, search for the word “ERROR” in the following list.

====== FILENAME: C:\Users\Alan\AppData\Roaming\McNeel\Rhinoceros\5.0\AutoSave\Rudder_RhinoAutosave(14952).3dm
ERROR Read3dmStartSection() failed

List produces:
The following is a list of every object that is in the file.
It may be possible to recover the geometric objects like polysurfaces, meshes, curves, and points.

I’m guessing the file was corrupted in the BSOD crash. I’ve pretty much duplicated the lost work by now anyway. Thanks for your help!
