Automatic colocation on defined area

Hi! Im workking on a definition that helps me with the process of display the curves or geometries that I want to 3D print inside a printing area so I can put as much pieces as it fits inside, taking in count some distance boundaries to prevent printer collides, im my case im using 20-25cm of boundary space between pieces.

The problem here is that i cant do it propertly, because im creating a grid with the distance i want and i use its centroid to display my curves, but the problem is that with this way, grasshopper duplicates my curves until the grid is full but In this example I only want to print 3 curves.

Does anyone know other way to pose the problem??

Do you mean like this?

yes but i would need it to be automatic, because sometimes i would need to position 3 curves, maybe other time 5… and that way i need to be changing explode tree component to match outputs

Basically you would like to select odd or even numbers.
