Automate Landscape Sections in Rhino [Seeking Community Feedback]

Hi everyone, my name is Ben. I’m a landscape architect and a new plugin developer.

If you’ve ever searched for how to do landscape architecture sections in Rhino, you know the struggle. Drawing them has always been pretty tedious. Manually cutting topography, hatching cut-and-fill & water, calculating slopes… then having to redo it all when the design changes takes hours.

To solve this, we’ve been developing a plugin called AutoSection. Our goal was to transform generating landscape / urban sections in Rhino from a manual chore into a one click, intuitive process.

How it works:

Select your existing topography and planned topography. From there, you can also select optional elements like water surfaces, trees, paths, and structures.
