Auto-complete - accented characters

For those who don’t work in both languages with accented characters and those without, this will not have appeared as a problem…

If I’m looking for a command in French (I have an English keyboard) - say something that starts with Re… or it might start with Ré… I would like to be able to have the possibility to see both at the same time by typing “re” - no accent… Otherwise it’s a PITA to deal with. Most search engines don’t care these days…

Thx, --Mitch

@mikko, what about it? Is this possible?

I believe this is already fixed in Rhino 6. Yep: http://mcneel.myjetbrains.com/youtrack/issue/RH-24539:

Make autocomplete and inline autocomplete ignore accented characters. Made autocomplete popup and inline autocomplete use accent stripping CompareString. Command name parser uses the same.

Kewl… Thanks!
